haircolor

When I was younger, I couldn't wait to turn 15. Why? Because it meant that I could wear makeup (I needed it) and it also meant that I could dye my hair (not so needed). As for dying the hair part I didn't ask permission, I just did it. My first color of choice was blue/black and that was the start of many years (I'm young so not too many lol) of haircoloring. I kept this color for quite some time, making spotted trails and staining towels along the way. I have practically had every color possible, sometimes looking really good and other times just looking like an experiment.
Throughout my life, seems that changing my haircolor goes hand in hand with changes in my life. Each time I need a change, the easiest and quickest way to do this, is to change my haircolor. I love being able to change colors ohh in about 30-40 minutes. It gives me a fresh start. I absolutely love it! My most resent haircolor is red. I've had it in the past too and it's one of my favorite haircolors. When I told my hairdresser I wanted red and pointed out "but not Rhianna red" I think he heard the opposite. I ended up with Rhianna Red hair minus her good looks and beautiful eyes! I think if I was about 5-10 years younger, I would have kept it but my adult brain kept thinking of myself in one of the many meetings I participate in and couldn't bear with the thought of that. My hair dresser is the best, he did a good job but I couldn't keep the color. I asked my good friend (who by the way is brutally honest) to please tell me what she thought. Oh she told me alright and after discussing what the plan was, we headed to wal-mart to rely on the good ol' boxed dyes. We chose a cooper brown and figured it would offset the red. I was nervous that my hair would be damaged but I was willing to take the risk.
The end result was red but it's a deeper red. I love it but mostly I love the change.
3 Cheers to new hair colors (hip hip hooray!), to honest friends (zippy de do dah!) and 30 minute changes! (Rah!)

This last part is interesting... maybe I am feeling that way even if it's achieved through a bottle of dye hmmmm
Red
The impression: Redheads are perceived as feisty, opinionated and seductive.
