Simple times for a simple person

My day off started with me. I made an appt. with my doctor to talk about why I am not sleeping well. If you look closely you can see mini bags under my eyes. Dr. diagnosis... stress less, listen to soft music and do deep breathing. HA!

Then, I payed a visit to my sister. I had to talk to her and show her my new purse. I know she would have loved it and would have said "shiu-shiu". I would have stayed longer but these annoying and loud people were nearby. I told Sylvia "come on, let's get out of here" then we both gave them a dirty look and left. Well, Sylvia said she had to stay, she had business of watching over her family to take care of. There she goes! Famiy Family Family! lol

Then, I treated myself to some lunch. Courtesy of myself and in the company of myself. Hmmm...I am such an interesting person to talk to! I found myself rather interesting and sexy at the same time. I may ask myself on a date again and maybe this time I will make a move on myself. I placed a picture of my sexy self here just in case you forgot how I look ;)

Then, I came home and before it was time to start preparing to have family over, I picked up a book that I have not finished reading and started on the last chapter. I like to read but I have many books that I start and never finish.
Hello Book!

by N.M. Bodecker
Hello book!
What are you up to?
Keeping yourself to yourself,
shut in between your covers,
a prisoner high on a shelf.
come in book!
What is your story?
Haven't you ever been read?
Did you think
I would just pass by you
And pick me a comic instead?
No way book!
I'm your reader
I open you up.
Set you free.
Listen, I know a secret!
Will you share your secrets with me?

My night ended with us celebrating my son's 12th birthday. Nothing big and fancy but just right. He mostly got money which for any kid especially him is A-Ok. Happy birthday my son!

Next year you will be 13th and although I can't stop you from growing up, I can help you grow into a proper young man

  3. I love this post. Just Love It!<3

You have such a way with words. I love how you can just have a conversation with your book. The pictures are great. Especially the ones you took while visiting Sylvia. Your funny comments brought tears to my eyes, because I could actually picture you two giving those dirty looks. - LOL

    And boy...you sure are sexy! I'm jealous=p

Doctors – What do they know? Have they ever been married? Have they ever lost a loved one? Have they ever been a single mother? Have they ever had to deal with finances? Doctors – What do they know? “Stress less, listen to soft music and do deep breathing.” -- Double HA!!

    Here’s my advice:
Turn up the volume and dance, dance, dance. Preferably to; Cumbia, Salsa and Merengue. It’s good exercise that pumps up your blood and makes your heart happy.=) Dance, dance until you release all your negative energy. Then, sing along with Chente and belt them songs out! “Y volver, volver, volver a tus brazos otra vez…” Now, go to bed and have sweet dreams.

Kika: Have I ever told you that you are a wonderful mom? Your kids are blessed.

  4. Sexy? And they say men are from where? LOL
Just kiddin cunada, I concur with your whole post. Hey, I don't care if you have dates with yourself, that's cool but if you do a taco run to Buckeye again you have to take me again. Deal?

  5. Chely, your reply to my post put a huge smile on my face. Thanks for the experienced advice.

Joe, of course I will call you if I go to Buckeye again. Tacos would not taste good without your company. No amount of sexyness would do that!
