Channeling Changes

About every six to nine months I get an itch. No, not that kind. I get the kind of itch where I need change. Channeling changes for me usually involves moving something in my house, reorganizing my desk or just needing a change in routine. I especially like to change my haircolor! that's one of my favorite things to do. However, I do envy those people that are able to clock in/clock out of their jobs or those people who don't see the need to rearrange their house. I really do. I do like some routine like keeping the same friends. Once your in my circle you're IN! Lucky few right? Haha! I guess that would be an answer best left for my friends to answer.
I remember growing up in a house that would change colors. How? Well, my mom was the same. She liked to change wall colors, wallpaper and even couches. I think we had new couches every year and every color. My dad would sit on one corner and relax or watch the Dodgers while listening to Jaime Jarrin on a small radio. Wow, those where the days! Simple.
So with change, comes a whole new set of routines to get used to. Like if I move a couch, I better change my routine in walking, otherwise I'm going to be tripping all over the place right? or if I rearrange my desk, I better remember where I put my stuff. I do that all the time... Organize something then forget where I left it. Sounds very organized, I know.
This week, I was able to go into my closet and organize it. Like Ricky Martin I too came out of the closet but for totally different reasons. The only similarity to him and I would be that we accomplished something. He came out and announced that he is gay (cause we didn't know) while I came up and out of my mounds of shoes and clothing. lol
Here's to another six months!!!

  2. Well I am a creature of habit, and believe it or not when change comes I adopt it as fast as I can so I don't have to deal with it. Oh yes your mom, those bright orange shinny walls how can I ever forget. Lucky for me Sylvia didn't have that itch you have. lol Ricky Martin is gay?
Note to Alex: I don't think your tia Sylvia or your mom come close to your grandma Graciela, she trully was one of a kind and I was lucky enought to be liked by her which believe me was a good thing. Kika, you want your house rearanged constatnly, take my kids to live with you, they will definitely take care of that. Just sayin'. Kika I am so ready for a taco run, just thought I threw that one out ther.

  3. Loool Kika, you crack me up! I am falling in love with these blog posts <3

Change is great and fun and refreshing! Even if it's the tiniest thing. It's amazing how small changes can make such a huge impact.

Now...time to change out those old hangers! Lol ♥
