Mother's day is everyday

I have been a mother for 17 years! Wow! Looking back at the start of my parenting, I recognize how much I have changed.

Alexis has been the easiest to raise. She has always been mature for her age even when she was 4. There's always been an old soul about her. Alexis is my rock and she helps me stay motivated. Believe it or not, she let's loose at home and makes up dances! Oh yeah, my little half salvadoran has rhythm! And boy can she write! Woah!

My son Matthew, had his wave of challenging times but for the most part he is very easygoing. I love his full lips and now that he got his haircut, he looks like a totally cute young man!! Girls, stay away I'm warning you!!

My daughter Paula, is very caring. I imagine her going into a career working with animals although if they are cats, I doubt that she will be the one cleaning the cat litter. She is my one child who has made me doubt my parenting skills. She has definitely challenged me to improve, question and be creative about the way I go about things. I have to give her credit for molding me into a much more experienced mother. I guess there's a light at the end of the tunnel... If it wasn't for her, I would not work where I work.

To all the mother's out there, have a wonderful mother's day. You know that we are what makes this world a better place!
