Let it flow

I am thankful for all the people that touch my life everyday. They don't know it but each one of them teaches me something new about myself. Ironically, my views are being shaped through the variety of people I meet, the stories I hear (good and bad) and by the everyday miracles I witness. Each person through their life stories, drops a bit of wisdom into my bucket that in turn, helps me grow as a human being. There is no better place for me to be than right here, right now! I've never felt that more than today. There are many quotes out there and one that I hear frequently is "live for today". This quote never meant anything. Now, it's stuck in my head. So true. Why do we have to live to plan, plan plan...I wanted the picture perfect world. Life (aka-my kids) made me change from someone who had to plan everything to someone who just lives (survives) day to day. I'll admit that it's a bit uncomfortable for me, but that's the way it's supposed to be. If you ever visit me during the week, you'll probably find my house out of order. I'm ok with that because we are just trying to withstand and confront our ordinary days. So my dishes are not done daily ..oh well, homework is more important. So my laundry isn't nicely folded and put away..screw it! My sofa is the new folding station and by the time we put things away, we most likely have to re-fold. I work best when I'm organized, that's a proven fact, but, until I figure out how to balance everything in my life, the reality of it is, that I have to just let it flow.
