Zira Mia

There's this lady...a very special lady. I consider her one of my very bestest friends. Our friendship began only a few months ago but will endure a lifetime. I remember seeing her one day in our group meetings and thinking to myself "who the heck is this!". Well, I soon found out! She's Zira and she's from Alabama and by the way, she DOES not come with a Banjo on her knee. What she does come with is a bunch of energy! She told me once that she has been referred to as the energizer bunny, ummm yeah I believe her now!

Where do I begin to talk about this wonderful woman? well, let me start by saying that she has slowly become part of my family and definitely a big part of my heart. I love this woman so much and I thank God for putting her in my path. We can relate to each other on so many levels, we often compare our cultures and find so many similarities. We always say that my sister and her Nini met each other and they helped bring us together. We believe that they are both smoking a cigarette watching over us lol. Although I don't know everything about Zira (I don't need to), what I do know is what a big heart she has. She is someone that I can always count on and never feel judged. My family has met her and we have all adopted "the other white girl" into our family. Yup, she's here to stay!

Zira, I hope that everyday that you look into the mirror, you know what a special woman you are and how much I care about you. No one, NO ONE can ever hurt you again, look up to the sky and continue believing in God as he will always take care of you.
